CRUES – Community Reconstructive Upliftment and Educational Scheme:- is a registered Non-Profit making voluntary organization working for the upliftment of Vulnerable children like Orphan, Destitute and Semi orphan in the society.

1. VISION:
Ø CRUES VISION is revitalizing livelihood by conserving Five resource capital like Natural resource, Human resource, Financial Resource, Infrastructure resource and Social resources by reaching the community through children . And facilitating a community, managed by a group of young professionals working in various backgrounds.
Ø And CRUES-Leela Family Home facilitating ‘child’s right’ through total development of Health, Education, Social and Spiritual improvement .
Ø CRUES envisioning a grass roots, child-focused, development agency called MSK- ‘Makkala Seva Kendra’ which serve the poor without regard to religion, caste or gender, operating in Bangarapet Taluk of Kolar District of Karnataka State. CRUES aims to build capacity and empower families and communities around the children to give them a wholesome life filled with hope, dignity, justice and peace...
Many orphaned, semi orphaned and destitute children in the Kolar district of Karnataka have no one to look after them and must fend for themselves. These children can find a new home in an ‘Makkala Seva Kendra’, where The ‘Makkala Seva Kendra’, through the support of sponsors, provide the children with long-term, Community Based Development care, not only by giving them a home and family, but also through the facilitation of the community by strengthening community based organisations, creating accessibility for educational, medical and social facilities which also assist and strengthen families from the neighboring communities ( Schools, Medical Centres, and Social Centres, among others).
This means that children and youths from both the ‘Makkala Seva Kendra’and the surrounding area benefit directly from your contribution. The families belonging to children from the community will be facilitated towards the sustainable use of Five resource capital like Natural resource, Human resource, Financial Resource, Infrastructure resource and Social resources and conservation with the CBOs. Children will be given space for their total development to realise their own dreams They can experience security in the care of an mother and the companionship of their ‘Makkala Seva Kendra’brothers and sisters.
2. How does your sponsorship help a child?
Your sponsorship makes a difference in a child's life, providing a permanent smile. You'll be helping to provide the most basic needs of your sponsored child like improved education and health care and increased family income. The idea is to lend a helping hand in the development of the child, his/her family and community.
3. Principles of Sponsorship
ü To involve the community and share the responsibility for the care,
protection and development of children in their own.
ü To ensure that the child gets quality education
ü To provide him/her all opportunities of a normal child for growth and
development of a normal child
ü To provide economic security for the community to which the child belongs
to.
ü To foster and nurture orphan children for their total development .
4. What will you receive as a sponsor?
You will receive:
- A case history giving personal details and photograph of the child
- Two letters from the sponsored child with a note on his/her academic progress
- A greeting card for Christmas , New Year and Pongal
- Annual activity reports of CRUES and that of the specific project where the sponsored child is attending schooling and extra curricular activities.
You can also correspond with your child through letters
Letter or word of appreciation from you is very meaningful to your sponsored child and will boost his/her self-esteem.
5. Would you like to visit your sponsored child?
Visits are solicited! A visit means you can also see how much the people have been able to accomplish with your sponsorship support. A visit also makes your sponsorship more meaningful for you as well as your sponsored child. Kindly write to the office, well in advance so that a visit can be arranged.
6. What happens to your sponsored child after your sponsorship support is over?
In normal circumstances, the sponsorship support to a child ends when the child has completed the Secondary schooling. In special cases children can go further to their higher studies like technical etc as per the wish of the sponsor and performances of the children. In such cases the successful children become role models of their society and carry the torch further.
Sponsorship offers the chance to form a meaningful relationship between a sponsor and a child from an under privileged community for a specific period through regular contributions to bring about lasting changes in the life of the child and in the family.
